Clique;

History;
The Tierney family. There are many things they have been described as. One thing that one would most likely never use to describe them is “conventional.” Kirsten and Alec Tierney met in an art class. The two aspiring artists hit it off perfectly. Never once have they even looked at another person. They were married on June 12, 1989.
Then, on November 11, 1990 beautiful Nicholas Joshua Tierney was born. He was to be the only baby born to Kirsten and Alec, but they certainly didn’t mind. Since having another child for him to play with would have been slightly time consuming, they got a puppy instead. Charlie the laberdoodle was Nick’s best friend growing up. That is, until he was old enough for people friends. Although Nick’s personality made friend making a little more difficult than it should have been.
Nicholas has always been the shy kid. It isn’t exactly a trait he loves, but it’s just what comes naturally to him. While everyone was playing kickball at recess, Nick was the kid laying in the sandbox staring at the sky. He’s always been an idealistic dreamer type and that has been just fine for his family. He and Charlie, his shaggy, four legged, best friend, were known by the neighbors as “that kid and his dog that don’t go inside and play for hours doing nothing.” Not something that should be used to describe a child, but the Tierney’s didn’t mind. Nick was their offspring after all.
Nick retained the individualistic attitude all through elementary and middle school and right into high school. He liked being his own person and wouldn’t have it any other way. He didn’t understand people like the “jocks” and “queens” who all tried to be exactly the same. That was why he fit in with the “individuals” so well his freshman year.
High school was moving smoothly and Nick seemed to fit in with his clique. That was when he met Audrey Truitt. That was when up became down and Nick found his entire life had flipped. He connected with Audrey on a level he didn’t even know existed. They spent every moment they could together for an entire year. Nick was in love, and that was no secret. He would have jumped off a cliff if Audrey had said it would have made her happy. Maybe that’s why he ended up losing out.
Nick’s then good friend Ben Thompson had seemed a little out of it, so Nick told him to tag alone one night. That was his fatal mistake. Everyone saw the sparks and chemistry between Ben and Audrey. Even Nick. The only difference between him and everyone else was that Nick was watching Audrey tear his heart apart. It was one week later that Audrey broke the news to Nick. She was still in love, just no longer with him. That was when Nick re-evaluated everything that had happened in the last two years.
Since last year, Nicholas has been hanging out with the “emo” clique. For the past year they have been treating him like he has been there since the beginning of high school. He now avoids Audrey (whom he still has feelings for) and Ben (who he can’t stand to talk to anymore). Seeing the two of them (since it’s usually together) tears him apart and sends him running for the shelter of his friends (who don’t quite understand his situation with her). For the most part though, Nick is pieced together and surviving high school.
Plots With other Cannons;
#7 [slightly described in his history]
Personlity;
Nick falls fast and hard for girls. It's not his fault his mom raised him right. If he likes a girl, weather or not their dating doesn't mean much to him, he will go out on a limb for her and stop at nothing to keep her happy. If they are actually dating, the magnitude of that is increased tenfold (only one girl has ever seen that part of him though). He does it in little ways too. For example: he may coyly find out her favorite color and then, BANG!, the next day she'll have flowers in her hand that are her favorite color.
Shyness has always been a staple in Nick’s life. It doesn’t quite matter if he enjoys being shy, because it’s almost imprinted onto his DNA at this point. Nick has never really been the center of attention, go getter, look at me type. He’s more a behind the scenes kind of guy. He’s quiet, artsy, and definitely a bit of a nerd (though not as bad as any of the know it all’s). The only time he will step up and break out of his shell is singing. There’s something that makes him feel relaxed on stage while people watch his every move.
To complement his shyness and hopeless romanticism, Nick is passionate. His passions are insanely varied and across the map, but his determination stands. Whatever he gets involved in and/or sets his mind to gets accomplished the best way it possibly can. Nick hates giving up on a project and loves to give one hundred ten percent. If more people knew of Nick, he’d be set to make something of himself in the social scene.
Good Traits;
+ Polite
+ People pleaser
+ Listener
+ Loyal
+ Compassionate
+ Lover
Bad Traits;
- Stubborn
- Shy
- Coward
- Picky
- Weak
- Short temper
Appearance;
Black hair, brown eyes, slight frame. For the most part, Nick looks like a standard emo-type. While his black hair is usually kept long enough to hang down into his face, Nick is careful to keep it out of his eyes. His brown eyes tend to shine, even when they are hidden by an occasional pair of glasses. The reason Nick keeps his hair off his face is so that his wide-eyed browns can be seen by everyone. They are a feature most people don’t miss.
Nick’s slight frame is caused by the fact that he has a great metabolism. Most people will note that the amount that this vegetarian eats can not be healthy for a boy his size, or at least that he should be bigger. However, Nick has his parents to thank for the fact that he can eat as much as he wants and not gain an ounce. While he stays thin, the little bit of weight he has is only being stretched over 5 feet and nine and a half inches. In Nick’s world it’s stay thin or lose out.
